Joey’s BBQ – Our Story 


Established in 1978 by Texas locals Luria Foreman and Ray Moors, Joey’s BBQ has been delighting the  Chino community with genuine pit-smoked barbecue for over forty years. 


From its inception, Luria and Ray shaped Joey’s around a straightforward principle — exceptional food, heartfelt hospitality, and authentic Texas smoke. By combining hickory and mesquite wood, they mastered the craft of slow-cooked meats that not only melt in your mouth but also fill the air with the distinctive, rich scent of true barbecue. 


Throughout the years, Joey’s BBQ has become a beloved local institution — a gathering spot for families, a venue for storytelling, and a place where the flavors of Texas are brought to life in every bite. 


Today, their legacy thrives with the same commitment to quality, family tradition, and community that ignited it all back in the 1970s.
